Emily is reselected for the World Class Lottery Programme
On the back of a successful 2010 Emily has been reselected for the lottery funded World Class Programme. ‘This news is a huge boost for me. The funding and support I have received over the last 3 years from the Programme has been instrumental in my developement to becoming a prolific world class competitor. I am very excited to have been reselected and am very much looking forward the season ahead.’

The season ends in a Pau hotel room!
Having made the long trip down to the foot of the Pyranees, Emily sadly caught Flu and saw very little of the action. Despite a raging temperature, she managed to achieve a respectable dressage score, which left her in 7th place. However, it was obvious that she was unlikely to make the XC. Following a call to GB Team Doctor, Peter Whitehead, a trip to the chemist tested everyones French speaking skills, as we tried to
explain about banned substances to a non- English speaking, but very patient, French lady! Unfortunately, it took 48hrs before Emily felt well enough to get out of bed. By then it was Sunday afternoon and time to load the lorry and head home, feeling extremely frustrated.
